About Ohio Care Exchange
Ohio Care Exchange is a practical events, insights, and networking hub for Ohio's child autism and behavioral health community.
The goal is simple: make it easier for providers, clinicians, schools, families, advocates, funders, vendors, and emerging leaders to find relevant events, trainings, resources, organizations, ideas, and partnership opportunities across Ohio.
Why it exists
Ohio's child-serving care ecosystem is full of useful work, but the information is often scattered across separate websites, newsletters, calendars, social media pages, provider networks, and public agencies. Good trainings can be hard to find. Community events may not reach the right audience. New resources, policy updates, and practical ideas can get buried.
Ohio Care Exchange is designed to reduce that friction.
It brings together curated events, resource links, organization profiles, short field updates, and practical commentary so the people doing the work can stay connected without searching a dozen disconnected sources.
What it includes
Ohio Care Exchange is starting with a simple set of core functions:
- Events and trainings — conferences, webinars, workshops, community events, and professional development opportunities.
- The Feed — curated links, resources, policy updates, training opportunities, and useful source pages.
- Articles and brief commentary — short pieces on trends, innovation, change agents, and practical improvements in care.
- Organization profiles — basic directory listings for providers, hospitals, associations, advocacy groups, public agencies, vendors, funders, and support organizations.
- The Biweekly Brief — a planned email update summarizing useful events, resources, and field intelligence.
- Sponsor and partner opportunities — a way for aligned organizations to support the platform and increase visibility.
Who it is for
Ohio Care Exchange is built for people and organizations working in or around child autism and child behavioral health, including:
- Provider leaders and clinical supervisors
- Clinicians and care coordinators
- Schools and education partners
- Autism and developmental disability organizations
- Families, caregivers, and advocates
- Funders, health plans, public agencies, and intermediaries
- Vendors and business-service partners
- Researchers, trainers, and emerging leaders
The site is not intended to replace the original source websites. It is meant to help people find useful information faster and link back to the original source for registration, details, and official updates.
Editorial approach
Ohio Care Exchange aims to be useful, transparent, and grounded.
Events and resources are summarized for convenience and linked back to the original source whenever possible. Listings do not imply endorsement unless explicitly stated. Users should verify event dates, registration details, eligibility, costs, continuing education information, and other requirements directly with the event host or source organization.
The editorial voice should be practical and constructive: skeptical enough to avoid hype, but optimistic enough to highlight people and ideas that can move the field forward.
Current status
Ohio Care Exchange is an early-stage concept and working prototype. The first version is intentionally lean: a curated event board, resource feed, organization directory, article section, and sponsorship pathway.
As the platform develops, the goal is to improve source coverage, add submission workflows, build stronger partner relationships, and publish a useful biweekly brief for Ohio's child autism and behavioral health community.
Simple. Useful. Connected.
That is the standard for Ohio Care Exchange.
